Mary Frann was born on February 27, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA as Mary Frances Luecke. She was an actress, known for Newhart (1982), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993) and The Wild Wild West (1965). She was married to T.J. Escott. She died on September 23, 1998 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Studied drama at Northwestern University and worked as weather reporter for the NBC station in St. Louis.
America's Junior Miss 1961.
Born in St. Louis, Frann was a child model and did live television commercials for a local station while she was in high school.
Founded the America's Junior Miss Council in 1995. It is the official Junior Miss alumni organization, and anyone who has ever participated in Junior Miss at any level - local, state or national - may join.
Frann was active in charities, and the night before she died she was working with homeless women at the Los Angeles Mission, where she served on a celebrity volunteer committee.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Frann died in her sleep of apparent heart failure. She was discovered by her companion, John E. Cookman, Jr. For weeks after her death, tabloids speculated that drug use had somehow been involved, but autopsy results determined that Frann was suffering from an existing but undiagnosed condition called "lipomatosis with fibrosis," which is a scarring of the heart muscle tissue.
Frann's personal and professional career was eulogized in a ceremony at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. The funeral was attended by family, friends and actors from her soap opera and television days. [September 1998]
