Lotte Lang was born on January 11, 1900 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary as Charlotte Lang-Binder. She was an actress, known for Thaw (1977), A Night in Venice (1953) and Abenteuer im Schloss (1952). She died on February 13, 1985 in Vienna, Austria.

Austrian actress, a former secretary prior to making her stage debut in Linz in 1925. From 1945 to the late 1970's, she was a member of the ensemble of the Theater in der Josefstadt, of which she became an honorary member. From 1932, appeared on screen as folksy, resolute, often humorous and (always typically Viennese) characters.
She became established for easily remembered support roles which she often endowed with wit and self-confidence.
She continued her career smoothly after the war and played often together with comedians like Theo Lingen and Hans Moser.
She made her debut at the Stadttheater Linz and her engagements led her to Hamburg and Munich in the following years.
When the offers for feature movies dropped off in the 60's she became more active for the new medium TV.
