Disney Says Good-Bye To Good Luck Charlie

It’s time to wish a good night, good luck, and good bye to popular Disney property, Good Luck Charlie. They say all good things must come to an end and though I don’t know who they are, they are right.

It has been a superb four season run for the hit, Good Luck Charlie. The series and its stars have 100 episodes to their credit as well as a hit TV movie. Going out on a high note is not bad at all.

The Disney Channel gave the official axe with Deadline reporting on the exclusive. Production on the series will very soon, but though the cast will go their separate ways, you fans out there still get to see the new and now quite final episodes when they roll out and run through early 2014.

'Good Luck Charlie' canceled after 4 seasons on Disney Channel

The good luck has run out for "Good Luck Charlie."

The Disney Channel says Season 4 of the live-action show, which centers on a teenage girl (Bridgit Mendler) giving advice to the title character, her little sister Charlie, will be its last. It remains in production and will have enough episodes to stretch into next year.

"'That's a wrap' will be called on the production after four years with creators/executive producers Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen and executive producer Dan Staley," Disney says in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "The cast and crew are superb, they deserve tribute for their work and we will look forward to the big finale episode the creative team is planning."

Disney Channel's hit series "Good Luck Charlie" has been canceled, as first reported by Deadline.

A spokesperson for the network confirmed to The Huffington Post that "Good Luck Charlie" will end its run after the show's current fourth season. New episodes, however, will be rolling out through early 2014.

“'That’s a wrap' will be called on the production after four years with creators/executive producers Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen and executive producer Dan Staley," a Disney Channel spokesperson said in a statement. Disney has announced that their popular comedy Good Luck, Charlie will end after 100 episodes and four seasons on the air. Production on the show will end soon but the final episodes won't be shown until next year.

Disney Channel has a track record for pulling the plug on its popular shows after 100 episodes. Though the show is ending, Good Luck, Charlie will likely be rerun on the cable channel for many years.
