Personal Quote:
I am here to state that I have appeared in some of the most flagrantly putrid films of this or any other era, but they have been in the minority, I believe, and it's only once in a while that I have to cringe while watching the Late, Late Show. I think that's pretty good for a fellow who's made 87 pictures in 21 years.
Trivia:
While playing the juvenile lead in the play "Come Out of the Kitchen" starring
Ruth Chatterton, Walburn was called to military duty. He joined the heavy artillery corps in training at Fort Hamilton and, during his first leave, returned to the theater to visit. The management, in a spurt of patriotism, allowed him to play his old part in uniform that night.
