Griffin Newman was born on February 19, 1989 in New York City, New York, USA as Griffin Claude Beresford Dauphin Newman. He is an actor and writer, known for Draft Day (2014), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Buttwhistle (2014).

Brother of Romilly Newman.
Brother of James Newman, who plays Tony on MTV's Skins.
He was one of the final candidates to play "Young Neil" in "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" prior to Johnny Simmons being cast.
He was cast as "Seymour" in the original NBC pilot of "Mulaney." When the show was reworked for FOX, Newman's character was rewritten and recast with Zack Pearlman.
Attended California Institute of the Arts, majoring in Film. He left school to pursue acting full-time during his first year.
Excluding "The Tick," Newman has said that in every other role where he's been required to run, he has tried to model his run to look like the iconic running motion of Robert Patrick's T-1000 in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day.".
