Guillermo del Toro-produced horror film Antlers stars Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons as a small town plagued by a mysterious monster.
Antlers will showcase an intriguing spin on horror film conventions, mixing the old “a boy and his monster” fantasy trope of Pete’s Dragon and Where the Wild Things Are with a voraciously deadly deer twist.
Guillermo del Toro serves as a producer for Antlers; a duty that, a few years back, saw him appoint Black Mass director Scott Cooper, who worked off a script that he co-wrote with C. Henry Chaisson and Nick Antosca, adapting Antosca’s short story, The Quiet Boy. David Goyer and J. Miles Dale also serve as producers.
Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons headline here, joined by Jeremy T. Thomas, who plays a small-town kid with the most problematic secret buddy ever.
