Elaine Hendrix to Play Alexis Carrington on The CW’s ‘Dynasty’
The Parent Trap” star Elaine Hendrix has joined the cast of The CW’s “Dynasty” reboot as the new Alexis Carrington, a spokesperson for the network confirmed to TheWrap. According to the showrunner, “Alexis is back in Atlanta, with a new look, a new man, and plenty of scores to settle.”

Hendrix will play Carrington as a series regular on the show, which is currently airing its third season. She replaces Nicollette Sheridan, who played Carrington in seasons one and two of the reboot. Sheridan exited the soap opera to “focus on some personal family responsibilities,” the network and CBS Studios told TheWrap in February.

After Sheridan’s departure, Elizabeth Gillies, who also plays Carrington’s daughter Fallon, briefly took over the role.
