The latest Martin Scorsese mob epic, clocking in at 3 hours and 29 minutes, was watched in its entirety by 751,000 U.S. viewers in the 24 hours following its Netflix debut, according to new data shared by Nielsen on Friday. That comes out to only 18% of viewers who started watching the movie that were able to complete it within its first day.
Still, that actually compares favorably to other major Netflix releases, despite its lengthy runtime. The 18% completion rate was the same for Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box,” and better than the 11% of viewers who started and finished “El Camino,” the recent “Breaking Bad” flick, in its first day.
