The actor revealed that he still gets stopped and asked about playing the character on the big screen to this day, though he doesn't like to take all of the credit.

It's been 30 years since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first hit the big screen. A virtual reunion was held in honor of the event and Corey Feldman provided a message to the fans before it took place. How Tired Can Lil Baby Get If He’s Already Tired of Being Tired of Being Tired?

How Tired Can Lil Baby Get If He’s Already Tired of Being Tired of Being Tired?
There’s potentially no artist who more accurately sums up the national mood than one Dominique Armani Jones. The Atlanta rapper, better known as Lil Baby, is the modern bard of exhaustion. Across years and songs, he’s rewritten, recontextualized, and perfected a central thesis — that being tired is, in and of itself, tiring; tiredness is an emotion that knows no depths, and can be eternally renewed.

Textually, the genesis of Baby’s leading theory began to bubble and ferment on 2018’s Harder Than Ever, which is not to be

Cult Roots Singer Leon Redbone Dies at Unspecified Age

Tony Sokol May 30, 2019

Leon Redbone showcased the music that led to rock and roll in the rock era and maintained his mystery throughout.

Cult singer Leon Redbone, best known for his Panama hat, dark sunglasses and Frank Zappa mustache and goatee, died on Thursday of causes as-yet unknown. The guitar-playing singer's age was officially announced as 127, but according to Variety, was 69.

“He departed our world with his guitar, his trusty companion Rover and a simple tip of his hat,” Redbone's family said in a statement. “He’s interested to see what Blind Blake, Emmett and Jelly Roll have been up to in his absence, and has plans for a rousing singalong number with Sári Barabás. An eternity of pouring through texts in the Library of Ashurbanipal will be a welcome repose, perhaps followed by a shot or two of whiskey with Lee Morse, and some long overdue discussions with his favorite Uncle,

Leon Redbone Dies: Early ‘SNL’ Musical Favorite Was 69
Update, with additional details Leon Redbone, the trombone-voiced singer-songwriter whose eccentric, nostalgic Americana style of music found at least a temporarily frequent home on early episodes of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, died today. He was 69.

His death was confirmed by his family in a whimsically worded announcement on Redbone’s website — an announcement that certainly bore a resemblance to Redbone’s own songwriting and conversational style.

“It is with heavy hearts we announce that early this morning, May 30th 2019, Leon Redbone crossed the delta for that beautiful shore at the age of 127. He departed our world with his guitar, his trusty companion Rover, and a simple tip of his hat. He’s interested to see what Blind Blake, Emmett, and Jelly Roll have been up to in his absence, and has plans for a rousing sing along number with Sári Barabás. Film Review: Life Goes On (2018) by Mia Yoon

An earthquake, a wave, a nuclear disaster. The prefectures Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima have been hit the hardest by the 3/11 catastrophe. In her inspirational debut-documentary “Life Goes On”, filmmaker Mia Yoon shows the true stories of people struggling and rebuilding their lives after they have lost everything.

Life Goes On” was part of the selection of the Japannual Film Festival in Vienna.

For example, there is Shinichi Edo, a carpenter from Ishinomaki. He lost his house and kids in the tsunami. Together with his wife, Ryoko and a volunteer group he started a daycare at the place where his house used to be. In Kawauchi, within the 30km evacuation zone of the nuclear plant of Fukushima, Yoshitaka Akimoto carries on the rice cultivation, that his family started 14 generation ago.

The documentary is about carrying on, but also about keeping the memory alive. One of the best role models for that

Review: Lil Baby and Gunna Join Forces on ‘Drip Harder’
Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V has been a white whale for hip-hop enthusiasts since 2014, so it was surprising last month when the rapper Young Thug predicted that the long-awaited album was sure to fall short. “I’m Wayne’s biggest fan,” Young Thug wrote, “but [Tha Carter V] not goin’ to be harder than Harder.” That’s Drip Harder, the debut full-length from rising Atlanta rappers Lil Baby and Gunna.

These two agile, melodic-minded MCs already have close to an album’s worth of songs together spread across various mixtapes; they’re on the radio right now,

Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘New Patek’ Is Extremely Long and Extremely Good

Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘New Patek’ Is Extremely Long and Extremely Good
Lil Uzi Vert’s latest release, “New Patek,” which dropped late Monday night, is a song devoid of anything resembling traditional pop conventions. It’s an eccentric sidestep for an artist who arguably redefined what a streaming hit could sound like on 2017’s “Xo Tour Llif3.” That song, which reached Number 7 on the Billboard charts, was short and direct, insanely repetitive (bordering on monotonous) and a captivating dissolution of genre boundaries. Here, Uzi bucks all of those trends once again.

“New Patek” is nearly six minutes long, an insanely long

Can Cameron Britton (‘Mindhunter’) make Emmy history? It’s rare to win for guest acting on your show’s only nomination

Can Cameron Britton (‘Mindhunter’) make Emmy history? It’s rare to win for guest acting on your show’s only nomination
According to hundreds of Gold Derby users currently predicting the Creative Arts Emmys, Cameron Britton (“Mindhunter”) is the front-runner to win Best Drama Guest Actor for his role as real-life serial killer Ed Kemper. But on paper that might seem unlikely. “Mindhunter” got no other nominations, so can he really take down actors from Best Drama Series contenders like “This is Us” (Gerald McRaney and Ron Cephas Jones), “The Crown” (Matthew Goode) and “Westworld” (Jimmi Simpson)? To win under those circumstances is somewhat rare, but not unprecedented.

The Emmys introduced guest-acting categories in 1986, and since then eight people have won on their shows’ only nomination. It happened three times in Best Comedy Guest Actor: Cleavon Little, Tim Conway and Peter Scolari.

It happened three times in Best Drama Guest Actress: Viveca Landfors, Amanda Plummer and Cloris Leachman.

Can John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf still earn Emmy love despite icky ‘Roseanne’ cancellation?

Can John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf still earn Emmy love despite icky ‘Roseanne’ cancellation?
When Kristin Chenoweth won an Emmy in 2009 for the cancelled ABC comedy “Pushing Daisies,” she joked, “I’m unemployed now, so I’d like to be on ‘Mad Men'” (watch below). Chenoweth’s triumph was hardly the first time someone prevailed at the Emmys for a cancelled TV show, and that’s the one potential bright spot for “Roseanne” scene-stealers John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf following the show’s shocking cancellation. However, while Goodman and Metcalf are still in the running for Emmys, might the icky demise of “Roseanne” thanks to Roseanne Barr‘s racist tweets make the entire program toxic to voters?

Seeabc cancels ‘Roseanne’ following Roseanne Barr’s ‘repugnant’ tweet

Goodman is no stranger to prevailing at the Emmys for cancelled shows, doing just that for “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” a decade ago. He won Best Drama Guest Actor at the 2007 ceremony after NBC turned

Lowe Stunned by Swank's Post Split Reveal

  • WENN
Actor Chad Lowe was stunned when his ex-wife Hilary Swank went public with his past substance abuse problems after announcing she had split up with the Life Goes On star. Lowe admits he was still coming to terms with the break-up of his marriage when the double Oscar winner dropped the bombshell about his troubled past in an interview. Lowe says, "It wasn't as though she made something up, and it was all of a sudden, you know, she was telling some lie. I mean, it's true. I was disappointed... I felt like it was for me to discuss if I wanted to discuss it." But the actor holds no animosity towards his ex; in fact he believes Swank will always regret going public with his terrible secret. He adds, "I think she regrets it because I know her character... She's a really special person. She's got a great heart. I will always love Hilary... I don't think that you just fall in love and then you don't have a place in your heart for that person. I'm not in love with her, but I will always love her."
