Alternate Versions

When released on selected 1996 Disney VHS tapes and submitted into a short episode of Timon & Pumbaa, the short film was edited as a music video, especially with the last shot of frogs being zoomed (omitting the end credits). However, international HD broadcasts remaster the theatrical version of the short (with the original end credits being retained during the final shot). See more »

And this has what to do with the song??
5 February 1999 | by SquonkSee all my reviews

Strange short featuring Timon and Pumba from the Disney feature The Lion King. Timon sings the song "Stand by Me" while Pumba is pummeled with various objects. Has only a few funny moments, most the time you'll just sit there wondering who on earth thought this was a good idea.
