Storyline

Four friends get together to start their career in crime, and extortion. They call themssevles G.A.N.G., which means G=Gangu; A=Abdul; N=Nihal Singh; and G=Gary Rozario. All four come from different cultural and religious backgrounds, but their roots are build on friendship and trust. They do succeed in their criminal goals, but Gangu is arrested and sentenced for five years. Before going to jail, he asks them to promise to go straight, to which they all agree. When Gangu is released, he is pleased to find that Abdul is now driving a taxi, his mother is well looked after, and that Nihal and Gary have also started doing business. It is when Gangu meets his sweetheart, Sanam, and proposes marriage, that he learns that all is not well in their world. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Alternate Versions

The UK release was cut, the film was submitted to the BBFC in a pre-cut form for a cinema release at which point the distributor chose to make a single additional cut following BBFC advice in order to obtain a PG classification. This cut was made to use of coarse language. An uncut 15 for this version was offered to the distributor. However when the subsequent DVD version of the film was submitted the material pre-cut and cut for a theatrical release was present and the film was passed 18 uncut. See more »

although the film has a repetetive story the way it has been made is excellent.Director LATE mazhar khan's unfinished dream this movie has been in making since 9 yrs.Actors Jackie Shroff,Nana Patekar,Kumar Gaurav,Javed Jaaffery have excelled in their roles.Best is the villon played my Amjad Khans Brother Inayat Khan.He even matches his brother in his acting.The movie has lots ovf voilent scenes that are more than satya or vaastav.ENJOY THIS ONE. it is one of my favorites.
