Trivia
A banned episode depicts lesbians. This was the first time to show a same gender relationship in a kids show. It was never looked at again until an episode of the show
Clarence (2013), when it was depicted that Jeff had two moms. Strangely, only two weeks after that episode premiered,
The Legend of Korra: The Last Stand (2014) became the first show to have a main character fall in love with someone of the same gender in a kids show, as the characters Korra and Asmi begin a relationship.

Alternate Versions
In the episode "Comet!", there is a scene that is now edited in the reruns: The dad plays golf and keeps missing the ball while hollering "Two!" When he finally hits the ball (and it ends up at the planetarium), the dad hollers, "Ohhhhhhhhh, damn it! Two!" (though the closed captioning has him saying, "Ohhhhhhhhhh, divot!"). When CN censors found out about this, they simply deleted the word (so now the dad hollers, "Ohhhhhhhh [mute], Two!" Boomerang airings leave the original line intact.

This is a masterpiece! It's a brilliant seven minute cartoon which achieves very satisfying amounts of filth and subversion, most of it totally under the radar. Each episode follows the adventures of sweet natured Cow, her moody older brother Chicken, and their nemesis The Red Guy, who's basically Satan and never wears pants. (He has a suitable alias every time, such as I. Ben Pantsed, Larry Lackslacks, and my favourite, Baron von Nein Lederhosen.) All three are voiced by Charlie Adler. It might not be to everyone's taste - Cow and Chicken's insane human "parents" manage to disturb even me sometimes - but I can't recommend it highly enough!
