Classic car, snappy fish, crap movie!
2 November 2001 | by uds3See all my reviews

Actually released in 1988, this harborside cop show can't decide whether its THE BILL on water, DRUGNET, or POLICE: MOST DANGEROUS VIDEOS. Ultimately it looks like a forerunner of WATER RATS.

Andrew McFarlane does his best with a patchwork script but comes up wanting. About the highlight of the show is seeing dear old Joe Bugner, "Aussie Joe" to his fans, hamming it up as a bouncer. In the wash-up, little more than an excuse for showing off Sydney Harbor.

Conceived initially as a telemovie, it received theatrical release Stateside under the alternate title, THE ROCKS.
