During the Battle of Kursk (July 1943), several of the German tanks are actually Russian T-55's, T-62's, and even a few IS-2's. Such tanks would not have been employed by the Wehrmacht (even though they did field a number of captured T-34's in the battle), especially as they had not been invented yet. See more »

The 3 rd part of the quintology about The Great Patriotic war is as alomost all soviet and russian war movies a masterpiece.This is the movie with the best scenes of war ever made.The battle of tanks from Kursk is incredible.You'll never see scenes like in this movies in american war movies witch are all propagandistic , stoopid , when they make a shoot 200 soldiers die, and more like this.Actualy the best U.S. movie related to war is a sitcom :M.A.S.H. in witch americans make jokes about their stupidity.
