funny mtv series with jon stewart & the state
19 May 2001 | by mofoholmesSee all my reviews

this was a show mtv aired in the early 1990s when they were experimenting with good, creative series like 'liquid television', 'the idiot box', 'the state', etc. the show consisted of viewers writing in funny "real-life" stories (most often embarassing ones from their adolesence), and jon stewart introducing segments re-enacted by members of the state.
