The hottest comedy talents of the 1990s headline these solo half-hour stand-up specials. Comics in Season 1 include: Chris Rock, D.L. Hughley, Simply Marvalous, Carlos Mencia, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Bob Smith, Eddie Griffin and Margaret Cho.
Lately I've really been getting into stand-up comedy and humor - Denis Leary, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, Dane Cook, David Cross, and so on and so forth. I watched a Dave Chappelle-hosted episode of "HBO Comedy Half-Hour" tonight on Comedy Central and it just about made me cry from laughing so hard.
Chappelle is hilarious (you'll know this if you've ever seen his television show on Comedy Central), and his stand-up is great. He talks about black people and prison as well as semen being found at crime scenes and watching porno with your partners.
I laughed, I cried, I...almost hurled.
