What a disappointment!
18 April 2014 | by petarmaticSee all my reviews

The only reason I did not give this film a straight 1 out of 10 is because of the acting of Ms. Ciccarelli. She is the only what stands out in this film. Otherwise it is a pure garbage.

When it came out I was living in Dubrovnik and I went to the most famous Sloboda movie theater to watch it. That movie theater is a classic in Dubrovnik, long before multiplex movie theater was open several years ago.

I was in for a disappointment. Just as Dubrovnik is a small town and interesting only during 10 days of summer, so this film was a disappointment. Editing was so bad that I could see rail tracks on which camera was sliding. Acting was not good with notable exception of Ms. Ciccarelli. The whole film looked more like a theater play, rather then the film. And a bad one for that matter.

Although Veljko Bulajic directed many excellent World War II films, I have to say that this is a true disappointment.

Do not waste your time on it.
