This Is Us Casting Scoop: Dave Annable to Stage Red Band Society Reunion

Dave Annable is making his way to NBC's This Is Us.

The actor is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the series, which will reunite him with a former co-star.

Annable previously starred on Fox's one-and-done Red Band Society, playing the on-screen love interest of Mandy Moore.

The news broke when Moore and Pearson were spotted filming in New York City on February 11.

TV Line has revealed that Annable is set to appear as Kirby, Kevin's acting teacher, and will have scenes with Moore's Rebecca Pearson.

This Is Us likes to play with time, so we don't have a definite answer on which timeline he will appear in, but based on the set photo from Just Jared, it seems like it will be the past.

Annable is a TV veteran, with TV credits that include Reunion, Heartbeat, The Mick, 666 Park Avenue, What/If, and Yellowstone.

Flashback: The Temptations Stage a Very Fragile Reunion in 1982

Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations – which chronicles the epic career of the legendary Motown vocal group – opens up on Broadway this week. It’s a musical based on the 1988 memoir of Temptations founder Otis Williams, the sole living member of the classic lineup. But unlike many Broadway musicals, it makes no attempt to sanitize the more salacious parts of their story.

“Otis can see things in hindsight,” Dominique Morisseau, who adapted the story for the stage, told Rolling Stone. “He can be a little

Emmy episode analysis: Evan Rachel Wood (‘Westworld’) gets bloody revenge in ‘Reunion’

Emmy episode analysis: Evan Rachel Wood (‘Westworld’) gets bloody revenge in ‘Reunion’
Evan Rachel Wood earned her second consecutive Emmy nomination for Best Drama Actress this year thanks to her dynamic role of Dolores Abernathy on “Westworld.” The role has also earned her a Golden Globe nomination and a Critics’ Choice Award. She has previously competed at the Emmys for the miniseries “Mildred Pierce,” making this “Westworld” bid her third career Emmy nomination. She has submitted the episode “Reunion” for consideration.

“Reunion” ventures out of the park and into the real world, when Arnold (Jeffrey Wright) takes Dolores to see his home during a flashback. Dolores is struck by the beauty of the world and Arnold suggests that humans don’t deserve it. Later in this timeline, she attends the retirement party of James Delos (Peter Mullan), and is disappointed when she sees William (Jimmi Simpson) kissing his wife. When they return to the park, William brings Dolores online and mockingly calls her “just a thing,

Evan Rachel Wood (‘Westworld’): Our show ‘speaks volumes to any group that has been oppressed’ [Exclusive Video Interview]
“We were filming season 2 of ‘Westworld’ when #metoo broke,” reflects Evan Rachel Wood in an exclusive chat with Gold Derby (watch our video interview above). Wood has been a powerful voice in the #metoo movement, taking to the floor of Congress in February to powerfully share her own experiences of domestic abuse and advocate for a bill of rights for sexual assault. Speaking of “Westworld,” she says, “You couldn’t help but draw parallels between the robot uprising and the revolution we are seeing, especially with women. It also speaks volumes to any group that has been oppressed or anybody who has had to fight for rights and fight for freedom. The game is changing. We are having to have new conversations about old topics. And it has been amazing to watch that unfold while being part of a show that is very much a metaphor for that.”

‘Westworld’: Ed Harris and Jonathan Tucker Break Down the Big Twists in Episode 4
[Editor’s Note: The following article contains spoilers for “Westworld” Season 2, Episode 4, “The Riddle of the Sphinx.”]

During the second season of “Westworld,” Ed Harris’ character, The Man in Black (a.k.a. William), has treated the robotic hosts with much more humanity — well, most of them.

“It depends on who the hosts are,” Harris said in an interview with IndieWire. “He’s buddied up with Lawrence (Clifton Collins Jr.)… so he’s definitely defending him and, as a result, his family. [But] Craddock is a host and so are his henchmen.”

Look what happens to them. In an (ahem) explosive Episode 4, The Man in Black is captured by Jonathan Tucker’s Major Craddock and his goons, only to escape in dramatic fashion and provide his robotic partner-in-crime a chance for revenge. Though the beaten and bloodied Man in Black certainly has reason to blow Craddock to smithereens, he lets Lawrence do it instead — as a gift for what his
