I have boarded the crowded and disease-spreading cattle cars heading to the Russian front with my fellow comrades. With an M1 Carbine in my hand, and 15 bullets in my pocket, I hit the snow running. Welcome to Call Of Duty 2... The latest installment to the ever more popular Infinity Ward franchise WWII era first person shooter. Over the course of the years 1941-1945, including 27 equally challenging missions, you will take the role of infantry on all fronts of the war. Pushing the German offensive out of Russia, Africa, and straight to the homeland of Germany with an impressively intelligent squad of comrades at your side, and an assortment of weapons at your disposal. Quotes

Col. Blake: Sergeant Randall, one more thing. I don't know about the "gentleman" part but, how would you like to be an officer? I'm applying you for a field commission as a lieutenant. Good leaders are hard to come by. What do you say?
Sgt. Randall: Well, I would be honored, sir. But the thing is, we'd be short of sergeant.
[gestures to you]
Sgt. Randall: Corporal Taylor here, he might be worth looking at.
Col. Blake: Huh! I'll keep that in mind, Lieutenant. See to your men. Dismissed.

The best WWII video game ever
10 May 2007 | by hchaisSee all my reviews

This game is excellent! The graphics are incredible. When people are talking, you can actually see their lips moving along with the words! That is something that video games barely ever do. I love this game. It is one of my top ten favorite of all time. It is just so good. It is a very long game with very long levels with lots of action in every level. It is very realistic. Your team mates know exactly where the bullets that are being fired are coming from and know not to go there and they can throw grenades and they can actually talk to you and stuff like that. This game is actually even dramatic in parts but in a good way because some games try to be dramatic. This is a great game. 10/10.
