Goodbye Mrs. Slocombe

Mrs. Slocombe has been replaced, much to the department's chagrin as her new stand-in is a rude and stuck-up woman. Mrs. Slocombe won't go down without a fight though, and takes on a cleaner's job in the meantime.

Quotes

Captain Peacock: Who pinged Miss Featherstone's posterior? Own up at once. Spooner?
Mr. Spooner: No, sir!
Captain Peacock: Humphries?
Mr. Humphries: No, sir.
Captain Peacock: [turns to Miss Featherstone] Are you sure it wasn't static in your suspender belt?
Miss Featherstone: I don't wear one.
[Captain Peacock quickly stifles a chuckle]
Miss Featherstone: I say, it wasn't you, was it?
Captain Peacock: [indignant] I beg your pardon?
Miss Featherstone: I'm sorry. My nerves are a little frayed. My first day up here, I suppose.
