It would not be possible for anyone to fall (or even jump) from the balcony of the ranch into the pool as there is a distance of several metres between the two. This error would be repeated in the 1983 episode "The Road Back" when JR jumps into the pool carrying John Ross during the infamous Southfork fire. See more »
