The "cutest" episode of the show's five-year history
24 May 2006 | by garrardSee all my reviews

The animated series, "Justice League," never had a large following with Cartoon Network's younger audience; it was the boomers that savored the exploits of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the others in the duties of being defenders of Earth. "Kid Stuff" attempted to put a little "youth" in the characters by having some of them magically turned into kids to do battle against Mordrid, the son of ancient sorceress Morgan Le Fey.

The vocal interplay between the younger versions of Batman (guest voice Kyle Alcazar), Wonder Woman (movie star Dakota Fanning), Green Lantern (Marc John Jeffries), and Superman (Shane Haboucha) is priceless with Batman delivering a smile-inducing revelation about his own childhood.

Though the story itself is rather weak, in the writing department, it still benefits from the premise of super-powered adults trapped in children's bodies and the adaptations they must make.

It is one of the best of the single part episodes of the series; perhaps it's greatest strength is its brevity, without the necessity of two parts as did the installments in the show's first two years.
