The real Billy Pore was shot by the son of a farmer, Joe Warner, that was delivering him to the wagon when Pore tried to escape the pair. Desperate for $100 bounty on delivery, Slim becomes the substitute when spotted camped alone and a long way from his home so no one knows him. Despite his denials, Slim is imprisoned with the rest of the men on the wagon, one of whom is expecting his gang to help him escape. Slim is in a race against time, desperate to have the marshal's believe him before the wagon is ambushed. His only hope is the farmer's son convincing his father to go back and tell the marshals the truth about what they did before it's too late. Written by DarSpi
