Slim knows that Tah-Za is covering for someone else because the facts don't fit quite right. Ben had been in a fight but Tah-Za has no marks on him. What Slim doesn't know is that Tah-Za is covering for his son Diamo, who accidentally shot Ben while he was protecting his pregnant wife. Meanwhile, Daisy Cooper and Mike Williams find Diamo and his wife in their barn for protection while she has the baby. Kindhearted Daisy takes them in to care for Winema as her time draws near. She is having problems with the delivery so Daisy sends Diamo after Doc Higgins. While Ben's brothers are trying to frame the Arapahoes for their thievery they are also bent on killing the man that's responsible for their brother's death. Written by DarSpi

Migrating Arapahoes
25 January 2018 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

This episode of Laramie has Jock Gaynor and Miriam Colon as a married and expecting couple who are seeking shelter. Gaynor accidentally kills a white bully who was ready to shoot Colon. Later on John Smith finds Gaynor's father Frank DeKova trying to get rid of the body and takes him in. He is adamant that he did the shooting, but Slim Sherman has his suspicions.

In the meantime Gaynor and Colon take refuge in Sherman station in the barn. But Spring Byington seeing her condition puts them in the house and sends for doctor. Her character always had a touch of warmth and humanity in all the Laramie stories she appeared in.

The deceased had a pair of really loutish brothers in Myron Healey and DeForest Kelley. They want to keep hostilities stirring against the Arapahoes in general and DeKova in particular. Hostile attitudes serve their rather venal agenda.

This is a good episode and I was impressed with Byington's scenes with Gaynor and Colon. agenda quite well.
