Goofs

In the scene that spoofs the opening of Branded, the principal breaks Al's baton over her knee. In the following scene, Al holds up one of the broken pieces; the break is mostly smooth, suggesting that the baton was partially sawed in advance to make it easier to break. See more »

Quotes

Spare Tire Dixon: It should have been mine, Bundy. Headlines should have read: "Spare Tire crushes unidentified white man on goal line." I was supposed to play college ball, but it never happened. Know why?
Al Bundy: Too stupid?
Spare Tire Dixon: Well, it was because after that game, I fell into a deep depression. And I turned where too many players before me had turned to drown their sorrows: pie. Come the trials, I could no longer make three points unless there was a pie on the floor. My career was over. You stole the glory that should ...

Branded as a Fool!
16 June 2009 | by SylviastelSee all my reviews

Al gets a job at Polk High as the night security guard after an accident befalls the shoe store when an aerobics studio opens up. So Al gets the job and suddenly has a uniform, he remembers an old high school rival football team where their quarterback still has a grudge against the Polk football team for losing the city championship. Al recalls the championship game. Suddenly during one of Al's bathroom visits, a robbery and burglary takes place and stealing the trophy. He is branded by the principal in a hysterical moment where she removes his security guard patches and sends him out in shame for being a failure. It's an interesting episode when he meets Bubba Smith who plays his rival. They discuss their quality of life.
