Lt. Becker
19 August 2006 | by zsenorsockSee all my reviews

Sgt. Dennis Becker has enough pressure on him. He's taking the Lieutenant's test and is determined to pass this time. However when one of the top Police official's wife is found dead in her car, Becker's life becomes more complicated as Lt. Chapman assigns him the case. Knowing this is a possible career-killer of a case, Dennis goes ahead with the investigation. At the request of the always enjoyable Pat Finley as Peg, Dennis' wife, Rockford agrees to check out the case quietly behind the scenes to help Dennis avoid any land mines that are out there. A very good episode, notable for the appearance of Ed Harris as a policeman and one of the rare appearances of Scotty Becker, the Beckers son who would later turn up as an adult in the Rockford files TV reunion movies of the late 1990's.
