This ep of "Laugh-In" was the final ep of the show's first season
tavm20 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In this, the last ep of the first season of "Laugh-In", there are some switches: Dick Martin is now the one saying "It's Sock-It-To-Me-Time" while getting water thrown on him or falling through a trap door while Judy Carne stands by. Also, instead of Goldie Hawn or Judy on film dancing in a bikini, it's Ruth Buzzi doing so in an old-fashioned-bathing suit which she strips with each subsequent film revealing tattoos like on Goldie or Judy! Also, Judy and Henry Gibson sing in front of the joke wall what "Laugh-In" is basically about complete with all the now-familiar catch-phrases in the lyrics. Many of the skits from previous eps are shown with new endings. Also, Paul Winchell appears with his head upside down but only his chin showing with eyes and nose drawn on it with his upside down mouth doing the talking. And then, once again, Tiny Tim makes Dick Martin react once more when performing his "Tip Toe through the Tulips". This was as fine a way as any to end a first season of that unique show called "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In". Don't know when I'm gonna get the second season, but meanwhile, I may review some movies featuring one or many of the cast members from this show as well as other films related to the timeline of this series...
