Storyline

Baines decides that if Diana and Tom are seen to be mentally incompetent it will give him power of attorney over them and end all his troubles, particularly as the home is in financial difficulties. So he refers them to psychiatrist Dr.Darrow, for whom they act out a well-rehearsed pantomine of odd behaviour, leading the doctor to conclude that they are not mad, just a touch eccentric, with unexpected help coming from Sarah. Harvey Bains: What!
[there is a knock on the door]
Harvey Bains: Come in.
Jane: You wanted to see me, Harvey?
Harvey Bains: I do indeed, Jane. In fact, I must say it is a positive delight to see you looking so wonderful.
Jane: Oh.

Jane: And your permanent right arm since the Residents' Committee insisted on it.
Harvey Bains: Yes. And isn't it wonderful to have such a clever Residents' Committee. All those charming old people being able to use the wisdom of their years to tell me how to run this place, even if ...

Harvey's foiled again.
23 January 2020 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

Making Tom the President of The Residents Association was a mistake, as he's ripping into profit margins, elaborate days out, so Harvey masterminds another plan to get rid of him and Diana.

It's another fine episode, although the last few have fallen into somewhat of a repetitive formula, Harvey attempting to expell the pair from Bayview, them foiling him.

I love the excessive sarcasm here, Tom and Diana's antics are incredibly funny, particularly when they take on the Psychiatrist.

I'm amazed at how much time Tom and Diana's family spend as Bayview, they're there more than the residents.
