At the birthday party for Doug Munney's son, in the background there appears to be a large body of water, which cannot be found near Las Vegas, Nevada. If you look closer, it is not a body of water, but a hazy sky overlooking a valley. Other shots in the same sequence actually show mountains, houses, and buildings in the distance.

During the rehearsal scene in the retirement home, Burt and Rance compete by staring at each other as they roll a coin across their knuckles. Rance is using his left hand, until Burt drops his coin and loses. Rance rolls the coin to his thumb and raises his left hand with the coin in victory but in the very next shot, the coin is in his right hand as the seniors applaud.
