Jake's Grandfather is among a group of immigrants who have come to swear allegiance to the USA at a ceremony in front of the statue of liberty. Only to find that Prime Evil has stolen the statue and replaced it with his own.
Did You Know?
Statue of Liberty was the first script written for this series. The five part story that introduces the characters wasn't written until halfway through production. See more
The Statue of Liberty is US federal property - it is a National Monument administered by the National Park Service. Therefore, it should have been the President of the United States, not the Mayor of New York City, presiding over the re-dedication ceremonies. (Incidentally, the "real" re-dedication occurred two months before this episode aired, and was presided over by then-President Ronald Reagan.) See more
