Chris Rock's Saw Reboot Has Wrapped, Director Shares Final Set Photo
That's a wrap! Director Darren Lynn Bousman has revealed that the new Saw movie has officially wrapped filming. This latest installment of the long-running and highly-successful horror franchise remains very mysterious, but whatever it is we have coming our way next year, the footage is in the can. What we know for sure is that Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson are in on the action this time around, which is enough on its own to spark some curiosity. To add just a bit of fuel to the fire, Bousman shared one final set photo to honor the occasion.

Plot details are virtually non-existent for the latest entry in the Saw franchise, but Darren Lynn Bousman teased us just a bit with this final photo. We see a room full of green screen that appears to be splattered with fake blood. One wouldn't think of Saw as the kind of

Original Final Destination Star Devon Sawa Is Down to Return in a Reboot [Exclusive]

Original Final Destination Star Devon Sawa Is Down to Return in a Reboot [Exclusive]
Could we see the return of Alex Browning, the one who started it all, in a Final Destination Reboot? The character was brought to life by Devon Sawa who played the part once and only once in the first entry. However, it came to light earlier this year that Warner Bros.' New Line Pictures is currently in the works on a reboot of the franchise. If there's a way to bring Alex back, Sawa is down to return.

I recently had the chance to chat with Devon Sawa on behalf of his new movie, The Fanatic, which arrives later this month. During our chat, I asked Sawa if, depending on the direction this reboot heads in, he would be open to a return to the series he first starred in nearly two decades ago. Here's what Sawa had to say about it.

"Yes, I would. If you were in

At this point, with things being so secretive, Darren Lynn Bousman, who previously directed Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV, can't show us much. He did, however, share an image of the clapboard from the set. The background is blurred out, so we can't ascertain too much about what's going on. But the board does have the working title "The Organ Donor" on it,

Chris Rock Will Reboot the ‘Saw’ Franchise

The Saw series has already proved that titling something The Final Chapter (at least on home video) does not mean the end of the series, and now the horror franchise has been given another life yet again, this time from an unexpected source. Chris Rock, mostly recognized for his comedic work, has been given the task to bring Saw back on course with a terrifying new take on it. According to Variety, Rock will be coming up with the story and writing the screenplay alongside Josh Stolberg & Peter Goldfinger, while the film will be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who was previously involved in making Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV.

While it’s no surprise that actors usually known for being in comedies such as Jordan Peele, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Ilana Glazer would eventually transition to the horror genre, it’s still interesting to find out

Will ‘Shazam!’ Be Cursed By ‘Llorona’ Over Easter Weekend? – Box Office Preview

  • Deadline
For the first time since 2014, Easter won’t have a huge multi-quadrant event film opening and dominating this weekend, and as we explained last week, that’s due to Disney dating Avengers: Endgame on the calendar next Friday.

The Russo Brothers-directed Marvel film is expected to be one of the five highest grossing pictures of all-time, not adjusted for inflation, and as such rival studios have opted to hold back any tentpoles over this lucrative holiday weekend when kids are off from school, and not play in front of Endgame. Instead studios are pushing out non event titles, geared at one or two demos. This despite the fact that the theatrical marketplace has demonstrated many times that two event pictures can perform simultaneously, even outside of summer. According to ComScore 74% K-12 schools and 29% colleges are on break Good Friday, moving respectively to 37% and 8% by Monday.

New Line will wind up

This weekend marked another St. Patrick's Day, and to celebrate, writer-director Darren Lynn Bousman took to Twitter to let us all know that he still wants Lionsgate to hand him the keys to a semi-classic horror franchise: Leprechaun. Yeah, true story.

Evidently, Darren Lynn Bousman wants to bring back original franchise star Warwick Davis and send the little green guy back in time to the Colorado Gold Rush. Which sounds pretty awesome. Specifically, Bousman says this.

"It's that time of year again where I remind my good friends at @Lionsgate that I still want to reboot the Leprechaun movie (Again)... Lep gets in a time machine and goes back to the Colorado Gold Rush. You guys have my number, I'll be sitting by the phone."

Screenwriter Scott Milam, who worked with Bousman on his remake of Mother's Day, then tweeted this.

"We pitched Lionsgate, remember? I wanted to cast William Shatner

xXx 4 Gets X Japan Frontman Yoshiki to Score the Soundtrack
XXX 4 is gearing up for production and they've just locked in a key piece of the puzzle. Legendary Japanese rockstar and drummer/co-founder of the band X Japan, Yoshiki is set to score the upcoming installment of the action franchise, in addition to composing a new theme song. It's amazing that it's taken this long for Vin Diesel's Xander Cage to get his own theme song, but better late than never.

The news came to light via a press release from The H Collective, the production company behind xXx 4. The rockstar previously worked on soundtracks for movies such as Saw IV and Repo! The Genetic Opera, as well as the anime series Attack on Titan. The studio is apparently very happy to be working with Yoshiki Hayashi as they've also tapped him to compose music for another one of their projects, the animated feature Spycies. Yoshiki had this
