Episode 3

Guilt is certainly going in a dark place. At Angie's behest, Jake tries to control of the running of his record shop's finances. We discover that the record shop is a front created by Max.

Max discovers that the amiable people he is using the record shop to launder money are ruthless gangsters. When one of them reveals his face, Max knows he needs to keep his brother in check.

Of course as suspected Angie is not who she claims she is. It was all a charade to get the old man's house. The detective Kenny Burns finds out the truth of what Jake and Max did and demands that he becomes a partner with Max.

Kenny is one of many people circling around Max, everyone wants a piece of Max. No wonder it is so bitter.

Guilt has certainly shifted a gear in the third episode. The story is getting together and it suddenly turns grim and violent.
