Did You Know?

The events of this episode (with Kara trying repeatedly trying to change the timeline so that she can reveal her identity as Supergirl to Lena at a time that won't make Lena hate her for keeping her identity a secret, with awful things happening as a result in each timeline) are similar to the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode "Legends of To-Meow-Meow"; in which John Constantine alters the timeline numerous times to try to find a way to avoid accidentally sending his boyfriend, Desmond, to Hell while fighting Neron, only for this to have horrific consequences in each timeline. Also like how John ultimately couldn't avoid sending his boyfriend to Hell, Kara can't find a way to fix her relationship with Lena. It also confirms that the results of both Kara telling Lena about her identity and John saving Desmond are meant to happen in the timeline and inevitable. See more »

Why didn't Mxyzptlk show Kara what would have happened if she didn't chicken out of revealing her identity to Lena in the Season 4 episode, 'Will the Real Tessmacher Please Stand Up?' See more »

Kara Danvers: [watching a memory with Lena] Ugh. This is awful! I'm awful!
Mxyzptlk: You're awful.
[she looks at him indignantly]
Mxyzptlk: I was just agreeing with you. I would never say that.
