"Funny People Making Food" is a non-scripted series created by chef, actor, and comedian Erica Wides. (possibly self-) Described as the "Jon Stewart of food," she uses her razor-sharp wit and biting sarcasm to examine both the way we cook and eat as well as how we think about food.
In each episode, Erica invites herself into a female comedian's home, where they cook and discuss the finer (and funnier) points of life, food, comedy, body image issues, and whether or not using white pepper means you're racist (hint: yes, it does).
Tackling everything from correct onion cutting, to spite-eating America's worst cookies, and everything in between, "Funny People Making Food" is a dash "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee", a pinch "Dinner for Five", and a splash of Erica's super-secret sauce (which is really just mayo and ketchup...).
