Trivia

The trailer for the movie is shown on the "sneak peek" menu of "Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure", but is slightly different from the finished product. The plot is the same, Tinkerbell is caught by Lizzie and her friends go to save her, but how they go to save her is different in the trailer from how they save her in the movie. It also shows in the trailer that Tinkerbell is being held captive in a jar. This happens in the actual movie, but near the end and it is Vidia that gets captured in the jar. There are other subtle differences between the first shown trailer and the finished movie. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Griffiths: [Lizzy has unintentionally trashed her room after her first flying attempt] Look at this room! It looks like a cyclone hit it!
Lizzy: It's not that bad.
Dr. Griffiths: Not that bad? Your books are all over the floor, your toys are everywhere, and you've torn your curtains!
[looks up]
Dr. Griffiths: What? HOW did you get FOOTPRINTS on the CEILING?
[exasperatedly]
Dr. Griffiths: This is simply too much. A temper tantrum of this magnitude is unacceptable.
Lizzy: But I wasn't having a tantrum!
Dr. Griffiths: Then how did this happen? And the TRUTH this time.
Lizzy: [nervously] If I...

Pure delight!
13 September 2018 | by paulclaassenSee all my reviews

Thoroughly enjoying the second film 'Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure' I was keen on watching this installment. Bradley Raymond is back as director. This was even better than the second film, with better animation, and again with wonderful action and adventure. The adventure starts when Tinker Bell is captured by a human girl, and the fairies set out to rescue her, not knowing that she's actually befriending the human.

The bond between fairy and human was wonderfully portrayed, exactly the way I'd imagine a child would react if she were to see a fairy. There's also a very deep underlying theme here with the single father/daughter relationship, with a father always "too busy" for his daughter.

All the familiar characters are back, as well as Blaze, and Cheese is back in a more prominent role. The fairy inventions are genius thinking from the writer's and animator's perspective. I loved this film, and thought it was really cute with a lesson or two to be learnt.
