Storyline

In her efforts to help Naomi, Nikki believes that Silverlake was self-medicating with an untried depression cure though his widow denies it and a representative of the pill company, posing as a health inspector, tries to have Nikki taken off the case. After she is arrested for shop-lifting and feels perpetually tired, Nikki is referred to a psychiatrist who diagnoses depression. Naomi is highly supportive throughout but, at the hospital, the police make a frightening discovery which questions Naomi's motivation. Even after the real murderer is punished another death occurs, leading to closure for Nikki. Written by don @ minifie-1

The Mystery of Mental Health
30 March 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This really delves into the strange activities of the human mind, especially when it is damaged. The core here is a person whose illness is known about but who hides it well. As Nikki faces her own demons, others have been left to fend for themselves. The mystery of the three patients who died in one night is explained very well. Chalk this one up as a must see for writing and plain old suspense. There are some real Hitchcock-like moments.
