The Unsinkable Meets the Unbelievable in Aliens vs. Titanic

From the maker of Aliens vs. Avatars comes Aliens vs. Titanic. It’s not a sequel. It’s also not referring to "that" Titanic. No, this alien is terrorizing the spaceship Titanic!

TomKat Films has announced the newest sci-fi mash-up from Lewis Schoenbrun, the director of Aliens vs. Avatars and The Amazing Bulk. I’ll be the first to admit I wasn’t much of a fan of either of those films, but I’ll still be the first in line to buy a ticket to see a movie titled Aliens vs. Titanic, in which a vicious alien monster goes berserk aboard an intergalactic luxury liner.

Synopsis:

Offering only the finest amenities, the ‘Titan 1C’ is considered the most luxurious star-liner ever built. Excited to be touring through space with some of the world’s elite, Violet Ducator quickly settles in for the trip of a lifetime.

From the director of Aliens vs. Avatars and the producer of Metal Man comes the cheapest, zaniest, most astounding no-budget superhero mockbuster The Asylum never produced. Once you’ve feasted your eyes upon the trailer for The Amazing Bulk, then you will be able to die knowing you truly have seen everything.

Prepare Your Tender Minds for Awesomeness! The Amazing Bulk is Coming to DVD!

You seen several incarnations of “The Incredible Hulk”, but can you withstand the sheer power of director Lewis Schoenbrun’s like-minded endeavor “The Amazing Bulk”? Although the movie was lensed almost two years ago, the film is making its DVD debut this April, courtesy of the demented geniuses lurking over at Tempe Video. The trailer is tasty nugget of low-budget goodness, complete with wonky CGI and janky performances. God bless those charmingly awful special effects. But first, an extremely useful synopsis: Henry “Hank” Howard, an ambitious but frustrated young scientist, struggles to develop a super human serum designed to improve muscle mass and prolong life expectancy. His boss, the grumpy General Darwin, will not allow Hank to marry his daughter, Hannah, until the experiment is a success. Against Darwin s wishes, Hank attempts to propose to Hannah, but his life is shattered by a mugger who steals his engagement ring.

Aliens vs. Avatars Trailer Brings the Blue Cheese

A few weeks back we brought you the mind-blowing trailer for the zero budget superhero spoof The Amazing Bulk. While that film still seeks distribution, the filmmaker's next b-movie bonanza already has a trailer. It's not an April Fools Day prank. It's Aliens vs. Avatars, folks!

Director Lewis Schoenbrun was kind enough to pass along a lengthy four-page summary of the Aliens vs. Avatars plot that I narrowed down a bit. A clique of college age friends vacationing in a cabin in the woods become prey for an alien monster called the "Necrosis" that is capable of invisibility and shape-shifting into the form of anything it has clawed or consumed. Ava (Cassie Fliegel), a tall extraterrestrial female with blue skin from a civilization nearly wiped out by the "Necrosis", arrives to kill the space monster once and for all. She'll change her skin color to something more Caucasian to blend in with the humans,

The Amazing Bulk Trailer is Simply Amazing

The Wtf Friday Video of the Week comes early this week, and believe me when I tell you this video will have you uttering that three-letter acronym. The Amazing Bulk is not a new Asylum mockbuster. It is... It is... You just have to watch it with your own eyes and then spend the next hour convincing yourself what you just saw was real.

David Sterling is a producer known for making movies on the cheap. I don't think movies get much cheaper than The Amazing Bulk. Actually, having seen past films he's produced (The Curse of Lizzie Borden 1 & 2, Pirates of Ghost Island, Queen Cobra, Studio 666, Tower of Blood, Slaughterhouse Phi: Death Sister), this one might actually be considered a big budget effects blockbuster. Having also previously produced two other superhero mockbusters -- the harmlessly bad Metal Man (review here) and the insufferably unwatchable The Black Knight - Returns
