Okay - this is my vote for most anticipated sequel of the year. The E3 Trailer on YouTube that made me think "GET ME THIS ####ING GAME QUICK" now I haven't played the Vendetta campaign the whole way through so I'll stick to the main game (much more fun from what I played though).

Gameplay wise this fulfills EVERY EXPECTATIONS from the E3 trailer, so in that respect it excels from the original - 3 hours and I don't get tired of it but that is as far as excelling the original as this game goes.

Story wise the plot is good but not as good as the original. The plot of this one is that 2 years later Jackie sees visions of Jenny after being forced to release the Darkness for the first time since you killed Uncle Paulie, The Brotherhood is after the Darkness (and are the antagonists of the game) and you must stop The Darkness from getting a weapon of pure light, and you must stop the leader of the Brotherhood from seizing The Darkness. I just found The story of the first one better.

There are holes in continuity between this and the original (eg, If Jackie kills people in this one wouldn't The Darkness continue to consume him like in the first one). Voice Acting wise - if you think Mike Patton in the first one is creepy - then his voice acting in this one the scariest voice ever (I WON'T listen to Faith No More because of his voice).

Finally - the last and least important point, The look of Jackie in this one is bad compared to the original. I can't really justify it but I prefer the look of Jackie in the first one.

OVERALL: Worthy of buying but absolutely not as good as the original. Soon though I will tell you what I think about the Vendetta Campaign.
