After escaping death by the skin of their teeth in It: Part 1 (1990), and nearly three peaceful decades after the blood-stained encounter with the shape-shifting demon, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, the now successful members of the Losers' Club find themselves before a dreadful obligation: to honour their promise, and return to Derry. Once more, the death of an innocent reunites the old band of companions, as the powerful fiend has come back from the shadows of oblivion to terrorise the small community, intent on destruction and slaughter. This time, the Losers must probe deep into the fundamental fears of their far-off childhood, and pluck up the courage to come face-to-face with the terrible creature that lurks in their nightmares. Now, the town's vile sewers await the intrepid fighters of the supernatural for one last battle. Will this ultimate all-out confrontation mark the end of the selfless Losers Club, or will it be the end of the nightmarish thing they call IT?
