Trivia

Generally each group are recorded for three nights a week. Temporary control rooms are set up. In the case of recording Jenny and Lee in Jenny's caravan, an Outside Broadcast recording van is parked outside. Each group is shot by two remote cameras. One takes a wide, fixed shot. The second is a 'roaming' camera that takes the close-ups. A Final cut for each episode reaches Channel 4, the network broadcaster, on Thursdays, ready for transmission on Friday. See more »

Not as good as it could be
13 May 2017 | by DavidYZSee all my reviews

This is a Channel 4 series in which we watch people as they watch television in their own homes in various places in the UK during the previous week.

This is a good idea, which could work like a real version of The Royle Family. However, it has little of that sitcom's humour, and isn't entertaining most of the time - because most of the participants don't say much that's worth saying.
