I liked this feature which is also a sort of semi documentary about North African community in Paris works. Interesting indeed of how those people from Algeria live among themselves, their habits...It's also a cute little story of a young man in search for a meaning of his life. The directing and story telling are made in such a way that you feel strangely attracted by this offbeat, fascinating story, so unusual, but also so french. Andre Dussolier is here as good as usual. The other Arabs actors are effective too. I thank french movie industry to give us such kind of movies. It permits us to discover foreign cultures, other people's roots, those people whom we live close to. I highly recommend it.
