However fibres found on Xun's clothes point to Wendy Xiao, whose protection racket Xun was seeking to expose. The kidnappers are unmasked but a surprise package from China clears them and leads Banks to the person responsible for Xun's death. Meanwhile Helen is successful in her promotion interview and Annie, having told Banks that her marriage is in ruins, places herself in danger by going alone to meet a caller. shaun dingwall indeed

The same shaun dingwall that played the shameless crooked doctor in "breathless" is playing the chief super who tried to hit on helen morton ... this trash bucket has no qualms about being a royal arse ... it would seem to most of us that a real stand up gentleman could have been placed in such a high ranking police position ... we don't like to see police corruption during a cop show
