The episode title is referring to an M18 Claymore mine, which is a directional mine that fires 660 metal balls out of the front of the mine in a 110 degree arc. It is used as an ambush weapon to take out enemy infantry moving through a killing field. The words "Front Towards Enemy" are stamped on the front of every Claymore mine. See more
When Karen is in the radio studio being interviewed, no one is wearing headphones, as they're talking to just the host that may work though the host would need to be wearing them to get instructions from his producers. Also, when the bomber calls through no one in the studio would hear him as speakers mute when microphones are on in radio studio. See more
