Tomas is an outcast young teenager trying to pass an exam. His family is constantly pressing him and her mother forces him to take antipsychotic drugs. In his need to escape, Tomas plans an intriguing trip to the moon. In this particular journey where reality and fiction mingles, he will disentangle an old family secret.
Tomas dreams of going to the moon to escape this world and compusively studies it. His weird obsession is noticed by his overbearing mother, but since he is under the care of a psychiatrist and takes antipsychotic medication, she bends to him. He is befriended by an outgoing teenager, named Iris, who helps bring him out of his shell, but an early violent childhood memory is always in the forefront and causes confusion in this young man's life. He also looses his mind and struggles with big life problems
