Storyline

"In the early 2050s, unknown life forms called "Oracle Cells" began their uncontrolled consumption of all life on Earth. Their violent nature and god-like adaptability earned them the name "Aragami". Facing an enemy completely immune to conventional weapons, modern society collapses as humanity is driven to the point of extinction. One last hope remains. Following the Fenrir Organization's development of "God Arcs", Oracle Cell based living weapons, their wielders are organized into an elite force of "God Eaters". Your mission is to defeat the Aragami and gather material from them for research, but you come to realize that you are being drawn in to a giant conspiracy that will irreversibly alter the fate of humanity..." God Eater: Resurrection
19 November 2019 | by ScientiiaaSee all my reviews

God Eater is the easiest hunting game I have ever played in my entire life. It does have a pretty interesting story-line: humanity is no more, you have to hunt flesh-hungry monsters and this is just awesome. Post-apocalyptic setting in any game instantly makes it interesting to follow, and God Eater is not an exception. It has never been laggy and it is not that expensive, to be honest.

The game, however, has quite many negative sides. First, you have to read a lot. It is not a problem, okay, but when you just want to relax after school, or work, reading is annoying. Second, fights are really easy. You can just face roll every battle and you will still be the winner. Third, this game becomes boring after an hour. You have to go to some place, kill some monsters, talk to someone, and then kill monsters again. They you could have made more monster designs; that might have made this game more interesting to play. Like, the more monsters a game has, the more attack patterns you will have to keep in mind. That would be really cool.

All in all, God Eater is okay to play from time to time. However, if I were you, I would spend my money on something like Tales of Berseria, which is 1 000 000 times better.
