On Tuesday, 4th February 2020 an ITV spokesperson confirmed that the comedy panel show would not be returning for a fourth series. After the final episode of series 3 had been broadcast Harry Hill had said "After three fantastic series I feel that there's enough funny stuff in the Fun Capsule to avoid an alien invasion, without having to make anymore shows for the time being. When Harry Hills TV Burp ended so did one of the funniest shows on TV. And whilst Harry's Alien fun capsule may not be as funny it comes as close as you can get with a mixture of clips and panel show with Harry throwing in his usual sense of mad cap humour. This is still the funniest 30 minutes of the week.
