Possible Small Budget Results in Unrealistic Plot
13 March 2019 | by wwkirkSee all my reviews

I don't actually know if this show has a small budget, but I infer that it does from the fact that so few characters are employed when doing a raid/rescue. It's obviously desirable to use a full tactical team. Instead, in the Pilot they use one agent and one amateur out in the field. To make matters worse, the two split up instead of covering each other. (This last fact wouldn't be a matter of budget; just poor writing.)

Another disappointment is that Chris Noth's character is relegated to the background.

I'll watch the second episode before deciding whether to give up on the show.
