During the Testing Center Scene with Lauren and Andy Dr. Campbell states that the walls are made with Adamantium, Adamantium is the metal that Wolverine's Skeleton and claws are made of, and Ultrons Outer shell is made out of.

It is revealed in this episode that Dreamer's, or Beautiful Dreamer (as she is known in the comic book); her full name is "Sonya Simonson". It is significant that they chose that name because, in the comic book we only hear Beautiful Dreamer's name as "Sonya", but the writers of the episode chose the name "Simonson" because it is the last name of Louise Simonson who co-created the character Beautiful Dreamer in the comic book.

Dr. Campbell tells the Strucker children that he found Adamantium in a defunct military facility in British Columbia. This would be the compound where Wolverine was given his adamantium skeleton.

The "Frost Triplets" resemble the Stepford Cuckoos from the comic books. Originally quintuplets known as 5 in 1, they have a psychic link and were protégés of Emma Frost, the former White Queen of the Hellfire Club and later headmaster of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Two of them died and only 3 remain. They were created to be a living weapon by the Weapon Plus program.
