The Weissmans arrive in the Catskills for their annual summer trip and attempt to settle into familiar patterns. Whispers of Midge and Joel's separation cause Rose to poke around her daughter's love life. Susie must adjust her summer plans in an effort to keep her and Midge's career momentum going.
Did You Know?
The entire Maisel family go to the Steiner Resort in the Catskills, as they have for many previous summers. While the resort is based on numerous similar Catskill resorts and was filmed there, many of the interior scenes were shot in Steiner Studios, a film studio at Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York City. It the largest film and television production studio complex in the United States outside of Hollywood. See more
Chicken Fat Youth, played during Abe's morning exercises, was not released until 1961, but this scene takes place in 1959. However, the show occasionally uses anachronistic nondiegetic music. See more
