Storyline

When Betty confronts Alice about Gryphons and Gargoyles, Alice has no choice but to come clean about how she, along with a young Fred, FP, Hermoine, Hiram, Sierra, Penelope and Tom, played the game in the early 90's - and how a shocking mystery has been plaguing them all ever since. Trivia

The cover of the comic book visible in Mrs. Crabapple's drawer of confiscated items is an altered version of "The Mighty Crusaders" #1, published in 1983 by Red Circle Comics, a fantasy/superhero imprint of Archie Comics. On the altered cover, the book is re-titled "The Red Circle", and yellow text explosion graphics have been added to the bottom of the image. A second comic is partially visible underneath, extending past the lower edge and left-hand side of the top comic book and partially obscured by the Game Lad portable video game system. This second comic book is "The Mighty Crusaders" #4 (Red Circle Comics, 1983). See more »
